James Bargar has a history as an educator, first in the private sector, and then in the public school system. Over the past six years, he has worked as a trial attorney, practicing almost exclusively in the areas of personal injury, divorce, and criminal defense, putting his skills as an educator to work for his clients in the courtroom arena.

His domestic practice focuses on divorce, particularly complicated divorce cases involving corporate or other business assets. He also routinely handles complex contested adoption and custody cases that necessitate expert witness testimony, particularly with reference to parental alienation, psychological issues involving children, and child or spousal abuse.

The firm's personal injury practice focuses on wrongful death, medical malpractice, dangerous drugs and medical devices, and tractor trailer and other auto collision cases. James is proud to be a member of the Arkansas Trial Lawyers Association, and feels very blessed to represent injured plaintiffs who are harmed by the negligent actions of individuals and corporations in central Arkansas.

James has also handled many criminal defense cases in local and state courts, and is a member of the Arkansas Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.
